### sec.202 Torres Strait Islander land—change to beneficiaries
This section applies to Torres Strait Islander land granted before the commencement.
On the commencement, the trustee of the land is taken to hold it for the benefit of Torres Strait Islanders particularly concerned with the land and their ancestors and descendants.
As soon as practicable after the commencement, the chief executive must give notice to the registrar of titles that the land vests in the trustee as mentioned in subsection (2).
On receiving the notice, the registrar of titles must record in the freehold land register that the land is vested as mentioned in subsection (2).
