### sec.89 New source material adopted feature rule (tidal)
Subdivisions 2 to 4 do not apply to the land.
The tidal boundary is, at law, the natural feature or other thing identified as the tidal boundary in the new source material, taking into account, if a natural feature is identified as the boundary, the application of the ambulatory boundary principles to the natural feature, after the coming into force of the source material.
For subsection (2) , the adoption of the line of intersection of a tidal plane with land is not sufficient to have achieved the adoption of a natural feature unless the land is, or is about to become, indigenous land or a protected area under the Nature Conservation Act 1992 .
