### sec.67 Overview of sdivs 2 to 6
Subdivision 2 provides for the location at law of a tidal boundary of land for the period starting when this division commences and ending on the registration of the first new plan of survey to be registered for the land after this division commences.
Generally, subdivision 2 provides for the location at law of the tidal boundary to be the current location of the natural feature adopted in the currently applicable plan of survey.
Subdivision 3 provides for the location at law of a tidal boundary of land from the registration of the first new plan of survey for the land.
Generally, subdivision 3 provides for the location at law of the tidal boundary to be the current location of the natural feature adopted in the first old plan of survey that adopted a natural feature, whether or not it is the most recently registered plan of survey for the land.
Exceptions to the general rules under subdivisions 2 and 3 include providing for the location of tidal boundaries in a way that involves the application of some or all of the tidal boundary location criteria.
Subdivision 4 provides for the location at law of a tidal boundary of land from the registration of any subsequent new plan of survey for the land, and relies on the feature identified under subdivision 3 .
Subdivision 5 provides for the location at law of a tidal boundary of land, and for the non-application of subdivisions 2 to 4 , if the land’s source material is new source material.
Subdivision 6 provides for particular matters relating to the location at law of boundaries of esplanades not otherwise provided for in subdivisions 2 to 5 .
