### sec.65B Special provision for particular boundaries of new land
This section applies in relation to a tidal or non-tidal boundary identified in source material for land (the new land ) that is common with a boundary of land adjoining the new land that—
is shown on a registered plan of survey for the adjoining land; and
does not comply with the boundary location criteria to the extent allowed under this part.
The boundary shown on a plan of survey for the new land—
must be represented as the boundary is shown on the registered plan of survey for the adjoining land; and
is not required to comply with the boundary location criteria to the extent necessary to satisfy paragraph (a) .
Subsection (2) applies until a new plan of survey for the adjoining land that shows the boundary in accordance with the boundary location criteria is registered.
In this section—
boundary location criteria means the criteria stated in section 72 or 100 .

(sec.65B-ssec.2) The boundary shown on a plan of survey for the new land— must be represented as the boundary is shown on the registered plan of survey for the adjoining land; and is not required to comply with the boundary location criteria to the extent necessary to satisfy paragraph (a) .
(sec.65B-ssec.3) Subsection (2) applies until a new plan of survey for the adjoining land that shows the boundary in accordance with the boundary location criteria is registered.
(sec.65B-ssec.4) In this section— boundary location criteria means the criteria stated in section 72 or 100 .
- (a) is shown on a registered plan of survey for the adjoining land; and
- (b) does not comply with the boundary location criteria to the extent allowed under this part.
- (a) must be represented as the boundary is shown on the registered plan of survey for the adjoining land; and
- (b) is not required to comply with the boundary location criteria to the extent necessary to satisfy paragraph (a) .
