### sec.130 Evidentiary provisions for appeal
Subsections (2) to (4) apply for a proceeding under this subdivision.
The appointment or power of the chief executive or a surveyor must be presumed unless a party, by reasonable notice, requires proof of—
the appointment; or
the power to do anything under this Act.
A signature purporting to be the signature of the Minister, the chief executive or a surveyor is evidence of the signature it purports to be.
A certificate purporting to be signed by the chief executive stating any of the following matters is evidence of the matter—
that the source material for any land is the material stated in the certificate;
that the records of the department in which the Land Act 1994 is administered in relation to any land are the records identified in the certificate.
