### 202 Third party notice
> > (1) Subject to [subrule (2)](#GS202@Gs2@EN) , a defendant who claims as against any person not already a party to the action to be entitled to contribution or indemnity or any relief or remedy relating to, or connected with, the original subject matter of the action, may file and serve on that person a third party notice directed to that person.

> > (2) A defendant may file and serve a third party notice –
