### sec.9M Supervisor to give statement about training
This rule applies if a traineeship, under which a trainee is doing supervised workplace experience in either of the following, ends—
a law practice;
an office other than the office of a law practice.
The trainee’s supervisor must give the trainee a statement, in the approved form, stating the extent to which the trainee has, by training received under the traineeship, met the required understanding and competence.
If the traineeship is terminated, the statement must be given within 14 days after the termination.

(sec.9M-ssec.1) This rule applies if a traineeship, under which a trainee is doing supervised workplace experience in either of the following, ends— a law practice; an office other than the office of a law practice.
(sec.9M-ssec.2) The trainee’s supervisor must give the trainee a statement, in the approved form, stating the extent to which the trainee has, by training received under the traineeship, met the required understanding and competence.
(sec.9M-ssec.3) If the traineeship is terminated, the statement must be given within 14 days after the termination.
