### sec.9B Persons eligible to be a trainee
To be eligible to be a person complying with approved practical legal training requirements by supervised workplace experience (a trainee ) a person must—
have completed an approved academic qualification or a corresponding academic qualification; and
be a suitable person to be admitted to the legal profession under the Legal Profession Act 2007 .
