### sec.3 Overview
These rules deal with admission to the legal profession in Queensland.
Part 2 sets out the academic qualifications and practical legal training requirements approved under these rules for admission to the legal profession in Queensland.
However, see the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition (Queensland) Act 2003 and the department’s website for admission of a New Zealand registered lawyer to the legal profession in Queensland.
Part 2A deals with supervised workplace training.
