### sec.27A Alternative process in exceptional circumstances
This section applies if the Chief Justice considers a requirement under part 3 relating to admission to the legal profession should be removed or modified because of exceptional circumstances, including, for example, a public health emergency.
The Chief Justice may make a practice direction providing for an alternative process for admission to the legal profession.
If the practice direction is inconsistent with a rule of court, the practice direction prevails to the extent of the inconsistency.
