### sec.12 Notice of intention to apply
Before a person applies for admission to the legal profession, the person must arrange for a notice of intention to apply in the approved form to be displayed—
at the registrar’s office at Brisbane; and
for an application to the court at Rockhampton, Townsville or Cairns—also at the registrar’s office at the relevant place.
The notice must be displayed at least 42 days before the sittings at which the person applies for admission.
The person must also arrange for the notice to be published once in a publication approved by the Chief Justice under a practice direction.
The notice must be published at least 21 days, but not more than 42 days, before the sittings at which the person applies for admission.
