### sec.10 Minister may declare matters about membership
The Minister may, by written notice, declare the following about membership of the scheme by a State public sector employee—
the membership category or categories for which the employee is eligible;
any conditions applying to the employee’s membership of the scheme;
for an employee other than a core government employee—whether the employee’s membership in the scheme is compulsory.
The Minister may declare an employee’s membership in the scheme is compulsory under subsection (1) (c) only if the employee’s employer has given the Minister a written notice requesting the declaration.
A notice under subsection (1) is subordinate legislation.

(sec.10-ssec.1) The Minister may, by written notice, declare the following about membership of the scheme by a State public sector employee— the membership category or categories for which the employee is eligible; any conditions applying to the employee’s membership of the scheme; for an employee other than a core government employee—whether the employee’s membership in the scheme is compulsory.
(sec.10-ssec.2) The Minister may declare an employee’s membership in the scheme is compulsory under subsection (1) (c) only if the employee’s employer has given the Minister a written notice requesting the declaration.
(sec.10-ssec.3) A notice under subsection (1) is subordinate legislation.
- (a) the membership category or categories for which the employee is eligible;
- (b) any conditions applying to the employee’s membership of the scheme;
- (c) for an employee other than a core government employee—whether the employee’s membership in the scheme is compulsory.
