### sec.55 Notice by parliamentary counsel of impending expiry
The parliamentary counsel must notify administering departments and agencies of when the following subordinate legislation will expire under this Act—
subordinate legislation, other than exempt subordinate legislation, published on the Queensland legislation website;
subordinate legislation prescribed by regulation.
The notice must be given at least 1 year before the expiry.
Failure to give the notice does not affect the expiry.

(sec.55-ssec.1) The parliamentary counsel must notify administering departments and agencies of when the following subordinate legislation will expire under this Act— subordinate legislation, other than exempt subordinate legislation, published on the Queensland legislation website; subordinate legislation prescribed by regulation.
