### sec.23A Statutory instrument may make provision in relation to land by reference to map, plan or register
This section applies if an Act authorises or requires provision to be made by statutory instrument in relation to land, whether the expression ‘declare’, ‘dedicate’, ‘set apart’, ‘specify’ or another expression is used.
Provision may be made by reference to—
a map or plan held by a person, department or body; or
a particular entry in a register kept by a person, department or body;
if the map, plan or register is available for inspection by members of the public.
In this section—
land includes Queensland waters.

(sec.23A-ssec.1) This section applies if an Act authorises or requires provision to be made by statutory instrument in relation to land, whether the expression ‘declare’, ‘dedicate’, ‘set apart’, ‘specify’ or another expression is used.
(sec.23A-ssec.2) Provision may be made by reference to— a map or plan held by a person, department or body; or a particular entry in a register kept by a person, department or body; if the map, plan or register is available for inspection by members of the public.
