### sec.73 Effect of reference on time limitations
Where an application has been referred to the Coordinator-General under section 67 —
the Governor in Council is not bound by any provision of law that limits the time within which a determination of the application would be required to be made had the application remained with a local body; and
for the purpose of any provision of law such as is referred to in paragraph (a) time shall be taken not to have commenced to run against the local body concerned in relation to the application until the application has been remitted by the Coordinator-General to the local body to be dealt with by it.
