### sec.8 Use of information—civil obligations [CA, s 183 ] A board member or an officer of a distributor-retailer must not use information, obtained because they are or have been a board member or an officer, to improperly— gain an advantage for themselves or someone else; or cause detriment to the distributor-retailer. - (a) gain an advantage for themselves or someone else; or - (b) cause detriment to the distributor-retailer.
