### sec.53DD Power to require evidence of name or residential address
The discharge officer may also require the person to give evidence of the correctness of the stated name or residential address if, in the circumstances, it would be reasonable to expect the person to—
be in possession of evidence of the correctness of the stated name or residential address; or
otherwise be able to give the evidence.
The person must comply with the requirement unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty for subsection (2) —35 penalty units.

(sec.53DD-ssec.1) The discharge officer may also require the person to give evidence of the correctness of the stated name or residential address if, in the circumstances, it would be reasonable to expect the person to— be in possession of evidence of the correctness of the stated name or residential address; or otherwise be able to give the evidence.
