### sec.53AW Quarterly CPI indexation for distributor-retailer’s charge For section 53AV the overdue charge is taken to be CPI indexed for all quarters during which all or any part of the overdue charge continues to be owing. However, if the amount provided for under subsection (1) is an amount that is or includes a fraction of a dollar, the amount is taken to be the amount that is the nearest dollar, rounded up. For subsection (1) , payments relating to the overdue charge are taken to be made first in reduction of the overdue charge before any interest on it.
