### sec.53AM Provision about strategic asset management plan
This section applies to a distributor-retailer—
on 1 July 2010; and
until the day the distributor-retailer has a water netserv plan.
For the Water Supply Act , chapter 2 , part 4 , division 1 , the existing strategic asset management plans for the registered services of a participating local government for the distributor-retailer are taken to be the distributor-retailer’s approved strategic asset management plans.
The Water Supply Act , sections 73 and 74 do not apply to the distributor-retailer.
In this section—
approved strategic asset management plan means an approved strategic asset management plan under the Water Supply Act .
existing strategic asset management plan , for a registered service of a participating local government, means an approved strategic asset management plan of the local government in effect immediately before 1 July 2010.

(sec.53AM-ssec.1) This section applies to a distributor-retailer— on 1 July 2010; and until the day the distributor-retailer has a water netserv plan.
