### sec.68 Deciding request to extend currency period
The council must approve or refuse the extension within 30 business days after receiving the request.
The council and the person making the request may agree to extend the period within which the council must decide the request.
Despite section 66 , the development approval does not lapse until the council decides the request.
After deciding the request, the council must give written notice of the decision to the person making the request.
