### sec.67 Request to extend currency period
If, before the development approval lapses, a person having an interest in the land to which the development approval relates wants to extend the currency period, the person may, by written notice, ask the council to extend the currency period.
If the council has an approved form for the request, the request must be in the approved form.
The request must—
be made before the currency period ends; and
be accompanied by the fee for the request decided by the council.
The fee must not be more than the actual cost of considering and processing the request.
