### 73 Protection of security-sensitive information
> > (1) [*\[Section 73 Subsection (1) amended by No. 2 of 2012, s. 99, Applied:01 Jan 2013\]*](/view/html/inforce/2013-01-01/act-2012-002#GS99@Hpa@EN) If the reasons for a decision made by the regulator or another decision-maker under this Act are based, or partly based, on security-sensitive information –
> >
> > > > (a) [*\[Section 73 Subsection (1) amended by No. 2 of 2012, s. 99, Applied:01 Jan 2013\]*](/view/html/inforce/2013-01-01/act-2012-002#GS99@Hpb@EN) the regulator or other decision-maker is not required to disclose the existence or content of that information when notifying a person of the decision; and
> > >
> > > > (b) it is sufficient, in any such notification, if it is stated that the decision was made "on security grounds".
>
> > (2) In the event of an inconsistency between [subsection (1)](#GS73@Gs1@EN) and any other law of the State, [subsection (1)](#GS73@Gs1@EN) prevails.

> > > > > (c) the operations of a law-enforcement agency of a State or Territory; or
> > > >
> > > > > (d) the operations of a law-enforcement, security or customs agency of the Commonwealth.
