### sec.12AA Costs of criminal history report
The chief executive may require an applicant or licensee to pay the reasonable, but no more than actual, costs of obtaining a report under section 12 (2) about—
the applicant or licensee; or
if the applicant or licensee is a corporation—an officer of the corporation; or
if the applicant or licensee is a partnership—a partner in the partnership.
The chief executive must refund to an applicant an amount paid under the requirement if—
the chief executive refuses the application without asking for the report; or
the applicant withdraws the application before the chief executive asks for the report.
In this section—
applicant includes proposed applicant.

- (a) the applicant or licensee; or
- (b) if the applicant or licensee is a corporation—an officer of the corporation; or
- (c) if the applicant or licensee is a partnership—a partner in the partnership.

- (b) the applicant withdraws the application before the chief executive asks for the report.
