### sch.63-sec.8 Amount of assistance
An applicant for assistance for an eligible project may be given an amount of assistance of up to half of the total cost of the project.
However, the maximum amount of assistance that may be given to an applicant under subsection (1) is—
for an eligible project involving the construction of no more than 50kms of eligible exclusion fencing—
$5,000 for each whole kilometre of fencing to be constructed; and
a proportionate amount of $5,000 for part of a kilometre of fencing to be constructed; or
for an eligible project involving the construction of more than 50kms of eligible exclusion fencing—$250,000.

- (a) for an eligible project involving the construction of no more than 50kms of eligible exclusion fencing— (i) $5,000 for each whole kilometre of fencing to be constructed; and (ii) a proportionate amount of $5,000 for part of a kilometre of fencing to be constructed; or
- (i) $5,000 for each whole kilometre of fencing to be constructed; and
- (ii) a proportionate amount of $5,000 for part of a kilometre of fencing to be constructed; or
- (b) for an eligible project involving the construction of more than 50kms of eligible exclusion fencing—$250,000.
- (i) $5,000 for each whole kilometre of fencing to be constructed; and
- (ii) a proportionate amount of $5,000 for part of a kilometre of fencing to be constructed; or
