### sec.41 False or misleading information
A person must not for the purposes of this Act, including for the purpose of an application for financial assistance under this Act—
state anything the person knows is false or misleading in a material particular; or
omit from a statement anything without which the statement is, to the person’s knowledge, misleading in a material particular.
Maximum penalty—200 penalty units.
It is enough for a complaint against a person for an offence against subsection (1) (a) or (b) to state that the statement made was false or misleading to the person’s knowledge.
