### sec.16D Delegation by non-appointed directors
A director mentioned in section 16 (1) (a) or (b) may delegate the director’s functions under this Act to an appropriately qualified senior executive in the public service.
In this section—
appropriately qualified includes having the qualifications, experience or standing appropriate to the exercise of the function.
the person’s classification level in a department
function includes a power.
