### sec.5B Application of particular provisions of Local Government Act The Local Government Act 2009 , chapter 6 , part 2 , division 5 applies to a member of the trust as if— a reference to a councillor were a reference to a member of the trust; and a reference to a local government, or the chief executive officer of a local government, were a reference to the trust; and a reference to a local government’s area were a reference to the trust’s river improvement area; and all other necessary changes were made. s 5B ins 2013 No. 23 s 189 - (a) a reference to a councillor were a reference to a member of the trust; and - (b) a reference to a local government, or the chief executive officer of a local government, were a reference to the trust; and - (c) a reference to a local government’s area were a reference to the trust’s river improvement area; and - (d) all other necessary changes were made.
