### sec.11F Action for debt does not stop proceeding for offence
A person may be proceeded against for an offence against section 11C (1) in relation to an improvement notice even if the person is also liable for a debt under section 11E (3) arising out of a failure to comply with the same improvement notice.
However, in a proceeding against a person for an offence against section 11C (1) , the court may, instead of, or in addition to, imposing a penalty, order that—
the person must pay an amount the court is satisfied would otherwise be recoverable as a debt under section 11E (3) ; and
payment of the amount is in satisfaction of the debt.

(sec.11F-ssec.1) A person may be proceeded against for an offence against section 11C (1) in relation to an improvement notice even if the person is also liable for a debt under section 11E (3) arising out of a failure to comply with the same improvement notice.
(sec.11F-ssec.2) However, in a proceeding against a person for an offence against section 11C (1) , the court may, instead of, or in addition to, imposing a penalty, order that— the person must pay an amount the court is satisfied would otherwise be recoverable as a debt under section 11E (3) ; and payment of the amount is in satisfaction of the debt.

- (b) payment of the amount is in satisfaction of the debt.
