### sch.2-sec.9-oc.2 Rent in advance— s 87 The lessor or lessor’s agent may require the tenant to pay rent in advance only if the payment is not more than 2 weeks rent. Under section 87 (2) , the lessor or lessor’s agent must not require payment of rent under this agreement in a period for which rent has already been paid.
