### sec.435 Appointment
The authority may appoint any of the following persons as authorised persons—
officers of the authority;
officers or employees of a department;
other persons prescribed under a regulation.
The authority may appoint a person as an authorised person only if—
in the authority’s opinion, the person has the necessary expertise or experience to be an authorised person; or
the person has satisfactorily finished training approved by the authority.
(sec.435-ssec.1) The authority may appoint any of the following persons as authorised persons— officers of the authority; officers or employees of a department; other persons prescribed under a regulation.
(sec.435-ssec.2) The authority may appoint a person as an authorised person only if— in the authority’s opinion, the person has the necessary expertise or experience to be an authorised person; or the person has satisfactorily finished training approved by the authority.

- (c) other persons prescribed under a regulation.
