### sec.387 Resident not liable for loss if rent paid to mortgagee
This section applies if a mortgagee of rental premises gives the resident written notice that the resident must pay rent to the mortgagee.
The resident is not liable for rent or for any other loss or expense incurred by the provider merely because the resident pays rent to the mortgagee.
