### sec.320 Tenant not liable for loss if rent paid to mortgagee
This section applies if a mortgagee of premises gives the tenant written notice that the tenant must pay rent for the premises to the mortgagee.
The tenant is not liable for rent or for any other loss or expense incurred by the lessor merely because the tenant pays rent for the premises to the mortgagee.
