### sec.256C Resident responsible for pets and other animals
The resident is responsible for all nuisance caused by a pet or other animal kept in the resident’s room, including, for example, noise caused by the pet or other animal.
The resident is responsible for repairing any damage to the resident’s room or inclusions caused by the pet or other animal.
Damage to the resident’s room or inclusions caused by the pet or other animal is not fair wear and tear for the purpose of section 253 (1) (i) .

(sec.256C-ssec.1) The resident is responsible for all nuisance caused by a pet or other animal kept in the resident’s room, including, for example, noise caused by the pet or other animal.
(sec.256C-ssec.2) The resident is responsible for repairing any damage to the resident’s room or inclusions caused by the pet or other animal.
(sec.256C-ssec.3) Damage to the resident’s room or inclusions caused by the pet or other animal is not fair wear and tear for the purpose of section 253 (1) (i) .
