### sec.141 Payment under person’s direction This section applies if the authority is required to pay a rental bond to a person. If payment is required to be made to the tenant or resident, the authority may make the payment to a person other than the tenant or resident only if, under a regulation, the person is taken to have contributed to the rental bond. Subsection (2) is subject to section 138 . Also— if the payment is required to be made to the lessor, the authority may make the payment only to the lessor or lessor’s agent; or if the payment is required to be made to the provider, the authority may make the payment only to the provider or provider’s agent. s 141 amd 2021 No. 19 s 107 s ch 1 pt 1 (sec.141-ssec.1) This section applies if the authority is required to pay a rental bond to a person.
