46J Offence—using or disclosing information in supporting
documents without authorisation
(a) the person uses, or discloses to someone else, any information
contained in a supporting document for a family violence
termination notice; and
(b) the use or disclosure is not authorised or required under a law
applying in Australia.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply if the use or disclosure—
(a) is between 2 or more of the following:
(i) the lessor;
(ii) the lessor’s agent;
(iii) an employee of the lessor’s agent;
(iv) the Territory; or
(b) is reasonably necessary to obtain legal advice from a lawyer.
