### sec.176 Reporting a matter relating to the accommodation Act
This section applies if, in the course of carrying out a function or exercising a power under this Act, a public service officer becomes aware of a matter that the officer reasonably believes is a contravention of the accommodation Act .
The officer must report the matter to the chief executive officer unless—
the officer knows, or reasonably supposes, that the chief executive officer is aware of the matter; or
the officer reasonably believes the contravention is trivial.
(sec.176-ssec.1) This section applies if, in the course of carrying out a function or exercising a power under this Act, a public service officer becomes aware of a matter that the officer reasonably believes is a contravention of the accommodation Act .
(sec.176-ssec.2) The officer must report the matter to the chief executive officer unless— the officer knows, or reasonably supposes, that the chief executive officer is aware of the matter; or the officer reasonably believes the contravention is trivial.
- (a) the officer knows, or reasonably supposes, that the chief executive officer is aware of the matter; or
- (b) the officer reasonably believes the contravention is trivial.
