### sec.41 Appointment of inspectors
The chairperson of the NHMRC Licensing Committee may, by instrument in writing, appoint any of the following persons as inspectors—
a person who is appointed or employed by the State;
a person who is appointed or employed by the Commonwealth.
In exercising powers or performing functions as an inspector, an inspector must comply with any directions of the chairperson of the NHMRC Licensing Committee.
The chairperson of the NHMRC Licensing Committee must not appoint a person as an inspector under subsection (1) unless he or she is satisfied that the person has appropriate skills and experience.
(sec.41-ssec.1) The chairperson of the NHMRC Licensing Committee may, by instrument in writing, appoint any of the following persons as inspectors— a person who is appointed or employed by the State; a person who is appointed or employed by the Commonwealth.
