### sec.77 Canvassing etc. in or near polling places
A person must not, during a referendum period, do anything mentioned in subsection (2) —
inside a room with voting compartments; or
within 6m of the entrance to a building with voting compartments.
Maximum penalty—10 penalty units.
For subsection (1) , the things are—
canvassing for votes; or
inducing an elector not to—
vote in a particular way; or
vote at all at the referendum; or
loitering; or
obstructing the free passage of voters.
