### sec.35 Depositing other litter This section applies to litter other than litter brought into a recreation area. If there are litter bins in the recreation area, a person must not— deposit the litter in the area other than in a litter bin; or deposit the litter in contravention of a regulatory notice. Maximum penalty—20 penalty units. If there are no litter bins in a recreation area, a person must not deposit the litter in the area. Maximum penalty—20 penalty units. For subsection (2) (a) , the person must not deposit the litter in the litter bin unless the litter is securely stored in the bin. the litter bin is full or damaged so that litter placed in or on the bin may escape from the bin Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
