### sec.119 Unauthorised disturbance of animals
A person in a recreation area must not disturb an animal if—
it is dangerous, venomous or capable of injuring a person; or
a regulatory notice prohibits the disturbance of the animal.
Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.
Subsection (1) does not apply to a person who disturbs an animal—
with the chief executive’s written approval; or
in the course of a lawful activity that was not directed towards the disturbance if the disturbance could not have been reasonably avoided.
In this section—
disturb , an animal, means approach, lure, pursue, tease or attempt to disturb the animal.
(sec.119-ssec.1) A person in a recreation area must not disturb an animal if— it is dangerous, venomous or capable of injuring a person; or a regulatory notice prohibits the disturbance of the animal. Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.
