### sec.118 Unauthorised feeding of animals
A person in a recreation area must not, without the chief executive’s written approval, feed an animal that is dangerous, venomous or capable of injuring a person.
Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.
A person in a recreation area must not, without the chief executive’s written approval, feed an animal if a regulatory notice prohibits the feeding of the animal.
Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.
However, a person may, without the chief executive’s written approval, feed—
a support dog in a recreation area; or
another domesticated dog under control in the Inskip Peninsula recreation area or another recreation area prescribed under a regulation; or
an animal taken into the recreation area under a corresponding authority or a regulatory notice.
In this section—
feed , in relation to an animal, includes—
use food to tease or lure the animal; and
attempt to feed the animal.
