### sec.107 Appointment conditions
An inspector holds office on the conditions stated in the instrument of appointment.
An inspector ceases holding office—
if the appointment provides for a term of appointment—at the end of the term; or
if the conditions of appointment provide—on ceasing to hold another office (the main office ) stated in the appointment conditions.
An inspector may resign by signed notice of resignation given to the chief executive.
However, an inspector who is a health service employee or public service officer may not resign from the office of inspector (the secondary office ) if a condition of the inspector’s employment to the main office requires the inspector to hold the secondary office.
(sec.107-ssec.1) An inspector holds office on the conditions stated in the instrument of appointment.
