### sec.85 Notice about change of executive officers
If an executive officer of a control body resigns, or the executive officer’s appointment or employment otherwise ends, the control body must give notice about the resignation, or the end of the appointment or employment, to the chief executive under subsection (2) .
The notice mentioned in subsection (1) must—
be in the approved form; and
be given within 14 days after the resignation, or the end of the appointment or employment, of a person as an executive officer; and
if, at the time of the resignation or end of the appointment or employment, the executive officer was no longer an eligible individual, include the reason why the executive officer was no longer an eligible individual.
If a person is appointed or employed as an executive officer of a control body after the control body’s approval or, for the board, is appointed as an executive officer of the body after the body is established, the control body must give notice about the appointment or employment to the chief executive under subsection (4) .
The notice mentioned in subsection (3) must—
be in the approved form; and
be given within 14 days after the appointment or employment of the person as an executive officer; and
state that the person is an eligible individual; and
be accompanied by a consent form signed by the person that gives the person’s consent to the following—
the collection of personal information about the person by or for the chief executive;
the collection of background information by or for the chief executive;
a criminal history check.
