### sec.75 Show cause notice
If the Minister believes a ground exists to take disciplinary action relating to the approval of a control body for its code of racing, the Minister must, subject to section 78 (1) (a) , give the control body a notice (a show cause notice ).
The show cause notice must state the following—
the disciplinary action the Minister proposes taking under this division (the proposed action );
the grounds for the proposed action;
an outline of the facts and circumstances forming the basis for the grounds;
if the proposed action includes suspension—the proposed suspension period;
if the proposed action includes varying the approval—the change that it is proposed to make to a condition stated in the approval or the new condition to which it is proposed to make the approval subject;
if the proposed action includes censuring the control body—the proposed censure;
an invitation to the control body to show, within a stated period (the show cause period ), why the proposed action should not be taken.
The show cause period must be a period ending at least 28 days after the day the show cause notice is given to the control body.
