### sec.148 Definitions for div 1 In this division— Act document means— a Minister’s approval or licence; or a race information authority. s 148 def Act document sub 2016 No. 12 s 364 background document means— an approved form or control body form, completed by a person about the person’s business reputation, character, criminal history, current financial position or financial background; or a document accompanying an approved form or control body form; or a document— given by a person for consideration for appointment as an executive officer of the board; and relating to the person’s business reputation, character, criminal history, current financial position or financial background; or another document obtained by the Minister, the chief executive or a control body, relating to a person’s business reputation, character, criminal history, current financial position or financial background. s 148 def background document sub 2016 No. 12 s 364 confidential information , about someone, means information about— the person’s business reputation, character, criminal history, current financial position or financial background; or the person making an application under this Act; or whether the person was identified by the police commissioner under a repealed section as a participant in a criminal organisation or as an unsuitable corporation. s 148 def confidential information amd 2013 No. 64 s 154 ; 2016 No. 62 s 335 (2) control body officer means an executive officer or employee of a control body. s 148 def control body officer sub 2008 No. 24 s 16 copy includes make a record. court includes any tribunal, authority or person having power to require the production of documents or the answering of questions. forge includes counterfeit. repealed section means section 212A (2) , 224 (4) or 225 (4) as in force before the commencement of the Racing Integrity Act 2016 , section 363 . s 148 def repealed section ins 2016 No. 62 s 335 (1) s 148 prev s 148 om 2016 No. 12 s 363 - (a) a Minister’s approval or licence; or - (b) a race information authority. - (a) an approved form or control body form, completed by a person about the person’s business reputation, character, criminal history, current financial position or financial background; or - (b) a document accompanying an approved form or control body form; or - (c) a document— (i) given by a person for consideration for appointment as an executive officer of the board; and (ii) relating to the person’s business reputation, character, criminal history, current financial position or financial background; or - (i) given by a person for consideration for appointment as an executive officer of the board; and - (ii) relating to the person’s business reputation, character, criminal history, current financial position or financial background; or - (d) another document obtained by the Minister, the chief executive or a control body, relating to a person’s business reputation, character, criminal history, current financial position or financial background. - (i) given by a person for consideration for appointment as an executive officer of the board; and - (ii) relating to the person’s business reputation, character, criminal history, current financial position or financial background; or - (a) the person’s business reputation, character, criminal history, current financial position or financial background; or - (b) the person making an application under this Act; or - (c) whether the person was identified by the police commissioner under a repealed section as a participant in a criminal organisation or as an unsuitable corporation.
