### sec.121 Suspension or cancellation
Subject to section 120 (6) , this section applies if—
there are no accepted representations for a show cause notice; or
after considering the accepted representations for the show cause notice, the control body still believes the ground exists to cancel or suspend the licensed club’s licence.
The control body may—
if the proposed action was to suspend the licence—suspend the licence for a period not longer than the proposed suspension period; or
if the proposed action was to cancel the licence—
cancel the licence; or
suspend the licence for a period.
If the control body decides to take action under subsection (2) , the control body must immediately give the licensed club an information notice about the decision.
If the control body’s decision is that the licence is cancelled or suspended, the information notice must include a direction to the club to return the licence to the control body, within 14 days of receiving the notice, for relevant action by the control body.
The decision takes effect on the later of the following—
the day the information notice is given to the licensed club;
the day of effect stated in the information notice.
