### sec.118 Immediate suspension of licensed club’s licence
The control body may suspend the licensed club’s licence immediately if the control body believes—
a ground exists to suspend or cancel the licence; and
the circumstances are so extraordinary that it is imperative to suspend the licence immediately to ensure—
the public interest is not affected in an adverse and material way; or
the conduct of racing by the club is not jeopardised in a material way.
The suspension—
can be effected only by the control body giving the club an information notice, together with a show cause notice; and
operates immediately the notice is given to the club; and
continues to operate until the show cause notice is finally dealt with.
