### sec.55 Delegation by Minister
The Minister may delegate the Minister’s powers under this Act to an appropriately qualified officer of the department.
However, the Minister may not delegate any of the following powers—
the power to give the theatre company a function for section 12 (1) (j) ;
the power to direct the theatre company under sections 15 , 45 (3) and 48 (2) ;
the power to agree in writing to, and agree in writing to modifications of, the theatre company’s strategic and operational plans;
the power to ask a person to investigate and report under section 53 (1) .

(sec.55-ssec.1) The Minister may delegate the Minister’s powers under this Act to an appropriately qualified officer of the department.
(sec.55-ssec.2) However, the Minister may not delegate any of the following powers— the power to give the theatre company a function for section 12 (1) (j) ; the power to direct the theatre company under sections 15 , 45 (3) and 48 (2) ; the power to agree in writing to, and agree in writing to modifications of, the theatre company’s strategic and operational plans; the power to ask a person to investigate and report under section 53 (1) .
- (a) the power to give the theatre company a function for section 12 (1) (j) ;
- (b) the power to direct the theatre company under sections 15 , 45 (3) and 48 (2) ;
- (c) the power to agree in writing to, and agree in writing to modifications of, the theatre company’s strategic and operational plans;
- (d) the power to ask a person to investigate and report under section 53 (1) .
