### sec.66 Public notification
After preparing the proposed development scheme, the authority must—
publish the proposed scheme on its website; and
in a gazette notice—
state that the proposed scheme may be inspected on the authority’s website; and
invite anyone to make submissions on the proposed scheme within a stated period fixed by the authority (the submission period ); and
publish a notice to the same effect as the gazette notice at least once in a newspaper circulating in the area of the relevant local government.
The submission period must be at least 30 business days.
