### sec.83 Disposal of public records This section applies if— a thing is done under a transfer notice, restructure direction or section 71 ; and the thing is, or involves, a disposal of a public record under the Public Records Act 2023 . To remove any doubt, it is declared that, for the purpose of section 23 of that Act, the public record is disposed of under legal authority. s 83 amd 2023 No. 33 s 107 sch 5 (sec.83-ssec.1) This section applies if— a thing is done under a transfer notice, restructure direction or section 71 ; and the thing is, or involves, a disposal of a public record under the Public Records Act 2023 .
